It is 2:45 AM on the 29th of August 2017…
Exactly 1 week before leaving the Netherlands and a couple more hours before moving out of my apartment room in Rotterdam…
…
AND I’M SETTING UP THIS BLOG???
That’s right, instead of focusing on clearing up the last bits of my 2-year old room and procrastinating on responsibilities, I’m starting a blog for my semester abroad in Japan.
And why is that Xin? Why the sudden motivation to do this?
Well, it’s definitely been a while since I kept a blog (Why the last time I was in this blogging habit was back in high school 5 years ago!), and I thought it would be nice to share my experiences and adventures during my time in Tokyo. I was also thinking that if I get back to blogging I could also maintain those writing habits. Then there’s the exchange report that needs to be handed in upon returning, so perhaps this would help in case I have writer’s block when I’m working on it?
Alright so some basic info about me and my semester abroad:
- Hailing from Malaysia, Xin is a 3rd-year Bachelor student at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands; majoring in Arts and Culture studies.
- I’ll be studying at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan during the Fall Semester, from September 2017 to end January 2018.
- Side hobbies include reading, drawing, watching movies, playing the piano and cosplaying. π
So yes, a very warm welcome to my blog~ π
It is going to take some serious dedication in keeping a blog like this and making sure I don’t abandon this halfway, so myΒ main goal would be updating this place weekly. Hopefully I can still write a thing or two while dealing with my exchange life in between.
I guess that’s all I have to say for now? Well alright CHEERS FOR A FIRST POST~
*Also excuse the current design for this blog I’ll edit this site as I go~
